Draft and proposed. TLDT has not been issued, no reserve exists yet, and nothing is for sale. Details below may change.
Supply and allocation
We propose to mint 1,000,000,000 TLDT once, with no founder or team wallet. Mint and freeze authority are planned to be revoked at launch, so no more could ever be minted.
| Bucket | Share | Tokens | Rules (proposed) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch liquidity pool | 45% | 450,000,000 | Single-sided pool; liquidity locked permanently |
| Service Reserve | 40% | 400,000,000 | Multisig; sold only under the monthly rule below |
| User rewards | 10% | 100,000,000 | Vests evenly over 36 months |
| Liquidity backstop | 5% | 50,000,000 | Locked for 12 months; only for added pools or an exchange listing |
Transfer fee
We propose a flat 2% fee on every transfer, collected in tokens by the token program and swept to the Service Reserve. It applies to wallet-to-wallet transfers as well as trades. It is one rate; it cannot tell a trade from a transfer. The fee is a way to fund the service, not a mechanism meant to affect the price.
The reserve's monthly sell rule
We plan to let the reserve sell tokens only to pay disclosed bills. Each month it may sell at most 1/120 of its token balance plus the fee and donation tokens that arrived, and never more than the lowest of these limits:
- that month's forecast bills, after subtracting other income and any USD above the buffer target;
- 1/120 of the reserve's token balance plus last month's fee, paid-upgrade and donation tokens;
- 10% of the last 30 days of trading volume.
Unused allowance is not carried forward. The reserve plans to keep a USD buffer for domain renewals already owed and several months of other costs. If the buffer falls below target, new free sign-ups would pause; renewals for existing users would be funded first.
Paid-upgrade receipts
For accounting, we plan to split TLDT received for paid upgrades into 50% to cover the service's own cost, 30% to a free-tier fund held in the reserve, and 20% burned. This is how the service's costs are handled. It is not a claim about the token's price or value.
